The Gauteng Department of Education has announced that late applications for grade one and eight for 2024 has opened online.
ONE APPLICATIONS ONLY
Parents who are yet to apply for their children are urged to use the department online admissions website to apply.
However, not all schools are available to apply for and only those that appear on the site have space for the respective grade and is applicable to be applied to.
“Parents must apply to just one school and will automatically placed at said school”, the department says.
Parents will not be required to submit documents as they must be submitted to the school once schools open on 17 January.
TEN MOST IN DEMAND HIGH SCHOOLS
The Katlehong Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics School of Specialisation received the highest number of applications. The schools received however it can only accommodate 275 grade eight learners.
