Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly preparing to sign a Stellenbosch FC full-back for next season.
KAIZER CHIEFS TO SIGN BASADIEN FROM STELLENBOSCH FC?
With Sifiso Hlanti seemingly fallen out of favour, Amakhosi are said to be targetting Fawaaz Basadien from Steliies.
“Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in signing Stellenbosch left back Fawaaz Basadien (26), for next season,” Unplayable and Transfermkt reported.
Should the 26-year-old left-back move to Naturena, he will become Edmilson Dove’s direct competition.
Basadien’s previous clubs include Milano United, Ubuntu FC and Steenberg United, Cape Town City’s reserves as well as Moroka Swallows.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR AMAKHOSI?
After a two-week FIFA international break, local football will be back with the Carling Knockout final 16 this weekend.
Chiefs will be at home to AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium at 18:00.
