Khayalethu Magadla will be laid to rest in Bityi in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.
The six-year-old was playing with his friends in Soweto when he fell into a manhole.
After an extensive weeks-long search, his body was finally found at the Eldorado Park Waste Plant.
On Friday, community members accompanied Magadla’s family to the manhole to complete rituals and pray.
The family has thanked everyone who supported them during this difficult time.
