GBV call for radio stations and music streaming points to mute AKA

Gender Based Violence movement in South Africa calls for all radio stations and music streaming platforms to mute AKA.

The popular rapper is trending for wrong reasons, this time is not about consoling him, encouraging him and supporting him. It is about the words of anger against him, this follows after a video leaked of Nelli Tembe crying out loud after she fought with AKA.

Woman For Change South Africa took it to social media on 10 May 2021 demanding that the popular rapper be muted on all radio stations and music streaming platforms in attempt to “get justice” for Nelli Tembe.

Nelli Tembe and Kiernan Forbes

11th April 2021 is the day marked on a calendar for Nelli Tembe who jumped off 10th floor at Pepper club in Cape Town. The couple has been dating for long now that they end up preparing to get married one day, they were engaged.

After the video of a 22 years old Nelli Tembe was leaked as well as her photos showing that she was in an abusive relationship/engagement all along. GBV calls for AKA music not to be played anymore in all radio stations and music streaming platforms.
