Kaizer Chiefs caretaker coach Cavin Johnson has revealed what he will tell Ranga Chivaviro after he scored his first brace for Amakhosi.
Chivaviro, 31, had only scored two goals since joining Chiefs ahead of the season but netted twice against TS Galaxy on Tuesday evening.
After the match, Johnson insisted that Chivaviro needs to prove himself in the next game again and not let it be an isolated performance.
“I’ve got to tell him now, he put up his hand to say ‘I’m available’,” he told SuperSport.
“He’s done it before on this particular stadium and now he’s just showing me that he’s capable of doing it.
“He lacks a little bit in the past but we want our players to do that, we want our players to do that all the time so that we have a headache but not to be in the previous games.
“Today, he’s put up his hand and we’re happy for that.”
Chiefs will be back in action on Sunday when they will face AmaZulu at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
