Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro was full of praise for his two-goal hero Kabelo Dlamini after his Man of the Match performance in the Nedbank Cup semi-final.
Dlamini scored Pirates first two goals in their 3-1 win over Chippa United to book back-to-back Nedbank Cup final appearances.
Dlamini, 27, has now scored five goals and set up two more in Pirates’ last six games across league and Cup, with his coach saying he doesn’t always get the credit he deserves.
“I think KB is an excellent football player, he understands football very well, and he has the quality to execute it,” he said on SuperSport.
“But sometimes we don’t give him the flowers that he deserved, [he] is sometimes in the shadow.
“But his contribution to this team in the last two seasons at least, it’s beeg excellent.
“And I think he didn’t touch [reach] his best capacity, he is going to still improve.”
