Ex-Baroka FC striker Tristian Nikitaridis has attracted interest from Cyprus, Libya and Motsepe Foundation Championship side Magesi.
Nikitaridis, 24, was formally with the University Of Pretoria and Baroka before becoming a free agent at the beginning of the season.
Motsepe Foundation Championship side La Masia was close to sign the lanky striker but due to a hamstring injury the deal broke down.
DStv Premiership side Stellenbosch FC also had a huge interest in the striker, but his injury blocked the move, as they were looking to get him earlier in the campaign.
Nikitaridis, helped the University of Johannesburg to win the 2021 Varsity Cup title, also had a trial with Norwegian giants Molde in November.
This publication understands that there has been interest from Libya and Cyprus for Nikitaridis, while Magesi are also still interested in bringing him in.
The unnamed Cyprus side have been impressed by the 1.95m tall striker and the same goes with the unnamed Libyan side.
Meanwhile, locally Clinton Larsen has a chance to win the race of Nikitaridis’ signature, as he aims secure promotion to the DStv Premiership.
