Richards Bay welcome Mamelodi Sundowns to the King Zwelithini Stadium for a blockbuster DStv Premiership clash this evening.
The Brazilians are looking unstoppable at the moment. Rhulani Mokwena’s side hold a seven point lead over their closest rivals SuperSport United – and an eight-point lead over their opponents this evening, Richards Bay.
Richards Bay have been arguably the surprise package of the season, but their title charge faces a stern test tonight.
A win for the hosts could see the title race thrown wide open, but a loss will leave the KwaZulu-Natal side, along with everyone else in the league, on the ropes.

Mokwena demands more from Champions
“We have to keep on improving. We are not close to the team that we want to have…,” Mokwena said as quoted by the Sowetan.
“After the Orlando Pirates victory, Trott Moloto [Sundowns official] said ‘you are good, but the challenge is can you get better?’
“That was experience talking and the challenge now for us is whether we can get better and better.”
