After referee Issa Sy had temporarily suspended the Mamelodi Sundowns against Esperance CAF Champions League semi-final second leg due to lightning over the stadium, players are now back on the pitch to warm up.
Sundowns started the match brightly and had a chance from a tight angle via Peter Shalulile inside three minutes but it was saved by the ES Tunis goalkeeper Amenallah Memmiche.
Meanwhile, Esperance hardly touched the ball in the Sundowns half, as a massive downpour started after around 10 minutes.
When lightning hit the stadium, with players visibly shocked, referee Sy halted the game and sent both sets of players into the change room after 20 minutes.
At around 21:10, players of both teams returned to the pitch, as officials decided the game can go ahead after the lightning moved away from the stadium.
The game is set to resume from minute 21 in the coming minutes.
