Pitso Mosimane shunned Kaizer Chiefs yet again.
FIXTURES: When are Amakhosi playing again?
Pitso is just one of the fish in the sea for Kaizer Chiefs
There’s no doubting the man’s pedigree and stature in the game. Just look at his CV and honours roll which includes silverware in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, five DStv Premiership crowns in South Africa and three CAF Champions League crowns, the pinnacle of club football in Africa. However, even Jingles will always admit there’s room for growth and improvement. That’s evident after his Al Wahda contract got ripped up after just 10 matches at the helm of the UAE outfit. He could do worse than entertain the idea of one day steering the Glamour Boys back to their glory days. Imagine how much of an achievement that would be.
Kaizer Chiefs should find other options
If Pitso isn’t keen on the top job at Naturena, top brass at the club should shift their focus to other targets. They shouldn’t have to sell a project which should essentially sell itself. If Jingles thinks he’s too big for the task, perhaps he’s not the right guy to take the institution forward and into another glorious era.
