The longest handmade wig is 351.28 m (1,152 ft 5 in), and was achieved by Helen Williams (Nigeria) in Abule Egba, Nigeria, on 7 July 2023.
Helen grew up reading the annual Guinness World Record books. She is a professional wig maker, so she decided to attempt this record, as she knew it was something she could achieve.
