There Is Light At The End Of The Tunnel In A Plot Twist We All Expected

Just as Gomora fans were gearing up for the upcoming wedding which would have seen Zodwa walking down the aisle, a plot twist occurs. The love tringle which had people glued to their screens – not the Gladys, Melusi and Thati love triangle, but the Zodwa, Bongani and Don love triangle – took a very sad turn recently where Zodwa chose her former lover and baby daddy, Don.

Bongani, played by Thulani Mtsweni was very much in love with Zodwa, played by Sana Mchunu and had even asked for her hand in marriage. But the reappearance of her baby daddy, Don, played by Israel Zulu, shook their relationship to the point where it crumbled.

Zodwa chose Don over Bongani, leaving him very distraught and actually even casted a spell on her. “My body loves you, I want to be with you but I cannot control my feeling, my feelings love Don,” she told Bongani who did not take the break up very easily.

Despite people not really warming up to Don’s character like before, this love triangle made him a bit more interesting. But his loser energy in making Bongani look like the actual loser made viewers get bored of his character.

“Don storyline is stupid and doesn’t make sense, how does a person with money act like a hobbo and stay in people’s houses by force you loosing it Gomora was coming right but this is pure nonsense,” @Luv5Preet said.

Another tweep said, “Gomora storyline revolves around Don. Every one is talking about Don. Don’t they have other storyline to run with other actors ,feel like they are wasting time????”

When Bongani asked for Zodwa’s hand in marriage, Don went out of his way to make sure the mother of his child does not walk down that aisle. So he wasted his money and time planning robberies just to win Zodwa over.

Viewers threatened to switch off the channel after Zodwa chose Don over Bongani:
