Orlando Pirates star Thembinkosi Lorch says the Buccaneers are going to FNB Stadium to beat Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby on Saturday.
Buccaneers back to winning ways
Thembinkosi Lorch is in fine fettle after collecting another Man of the Match award in midweek against Sekhukhune. The Buccaneers claimed a narrow 1-0 win against Sekhukhune in midweek, courtesy of Thabiso Monyane, to return to winning ways in the nick of time. The Sea Robbers were winless in four outings before last night and now move up to ninth in the table, two spots ahead of Chiefs.

“It wasn’t an easy game, you can see the legs are gone, fatigue you know, but we keep on going [and] we focus on the next one. which is Chiefs on Saturday,” Lorch told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It was very important to get maximum points, we have not been doing well. i think for games without getting a result, it was important to get three points to give us a boost for the next game on Saturday.
“Eish, it’s another tough game, tough opponent, I think we’re off tomorrow, we need to recover and we’ll see, we have to plan for that like all other games. [We can promise] a win, we’re going there to win, every game we play, we want three points, we going there to win.”
Pirates travel to their fierce rivals on Saturday 11 November with kick-off scheduled for 15h30.
