Confirmation of Ukhozi FM’s sport presenter, Sihlophe, being admitted to the hospital came from a close friend. According to the insider, attempts to reach Sihlophe were in vain as his phone remained unresponsive.
All is well, and he is conversing, so his situation is notably different, affirmed Mjosty. The medical experts diagnosed a minor stroke, but they anticipate a prompt recovery.
Detailing The Incident; Mjosty mentioned that Sihlophe fell ill while unwinding at home with his brother Nsindiso on Friday. As a producer and presenter of sports programs, Sihlophe’s health deteriorated, leading to hospitalization. “He is currently in a medical facility receiving care. Thankfully, there’s no cause for alarm as his condition has improved. The effects were primarily on his hand and foot. Doctors, however, recommend an extended stay for gradual recovery.”
The hospital diagnosis revealed Sihlophe’s unawareness of his diabetes, coupled with alarmingly high blood pressure, as per Mjosty.
Apart from their personal friendship, Mjosty and Sihlophe share professional collaborations as hosts of the annual Uvukile Gospel Music Festival in Port Shepstone.
Mjosty also highlighted a prior stroke incident involving kwaito singer L’vovo Derrango in Newcastle last December. It serves as a poignant reminder of health challenges faced by public figures.
As news of Sihlophe’s hospitalization circulates, friends and listeners await updates on his health and wish him a swift and full recovery.
