Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies are back at the summit of the Hollywoodbets Super League log after their 1-0 win against the University of Western Cape (UWC) in a top-of-the-table clash away at UWC this past weekend.
Refilwe Tholakele scored the only goal in the first half as the defending champions swapped places with their rivals though they are both equal on 66 points after 25 matches.
This was the first match in five outings where the former African champions were reduced to scoring a solitary goal after scoring 29 goals before this encounter.
They started with a 6-0 win over City Lads, then followed with the same score-line against Durban Ladies, they went on to win 6-1 against JVW FC and showed no mercy against Coal City Wizards when they thrashed them 11-0.

Royal AM dropped points at home as they were held to 1-1 draw by City Lads a result that saw the Kwa Zulu Natal-based outfit remain at number five on the standings with 49 points from 26 matches just four points ahead of rookies University of Pretoria who also drew 1-1 away City Wizards in Mpumalanga.
