South Africans took to social media to celebrate the Proteas and Springboks beating England in both the Cricket and Rugby World Cups on Saturday, 21 October.
PROTEAS AND SPRINBOKS WINS
South Africans were in celebratory mood on Saturday before the Springboks faced England when the Proteas secured a convincing win against England in their Cricket World Cup match in Mumbai.
The Proteas dethroned the world champions England by a record 229 runs at the celestial Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai before the Springboks beat England 16-15 in the semi-finals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The South African cricket team rallied behind the Boks and stated: “Over to you, Bokke, the Proteas got the job done in Cricket World Cup clash against England.”
South Africans took to social media to celebrate the double England victories on Saturday by both the cricket team and rugby team.
