Media personality, author, and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo says he does not want to be “boxed” about his seexxuality.
Mhlongo said this during a recent interview with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka during the Kaya Breakfast on Kaya 959. The breakfast show hosts said they were “decoding” the veteran entertainer.
“I don’t want to be boxed,” he said in the interview. “The older you get, the more you find yourself, and you explore, and it’s okay.”
In the interview, Mhlongo also opened up about thinking he was panseexxual when he expanded his response to Phenduka’s question about the last time he had seexxual relations with a woman. According to Mhlongo, this happened “about five years ago.”
“At some point, I thought I’m gay, I’m bi[-seexxual], and now, I think I’m panseexxual,” he explained. Mhlongo added that being panseexxual meant he was not attracted to a specific seexxuality but rather the “vibes and chemistry” at the particular time.
The Idols SA judge also said that while he has never been straight, he “absolutely” enjoyed the process of making his daughter, Bahumi. “I’ve always been honest,” he added
