New Orlando Pirates signing Patrick Maswanganyi has explained how he intends to fulfill his ambitions using the Soweto giants.
The attacker caught the attention of Pirates with his impressive showings at SuperSport under Gavin Hunt.
‘Tito’ was one of the outstanding performers for Matsatsantsa last season as they qualified for the 2023/24 CAF Confederations Cup. He featured in 23 matches in all competitions for SuperSport and chipped in with four assists.
Meanwhile, the 25-year midfielder is in a superb run of form for Pirates in the pre-season tour that is ongoing in Spain. The latter scored two goals in two matches as Pirates won two of their pre-season games.
With the new Premiership season looming large, Maswanganyi has opened up on how being at Pirates will help him accomplish his goals.

“Being at Orlando Pirates is going to be a big boost for me and my career. I have always had ambitions of playing and competing in the CAF Champions League,” Maswanganyi said.
“I also want to play for one of the big teams in Europe. I believe that playing for Orlando Pirates will equip me with necessary skills to achieve that dream,”
The product of Stars Of Africa Football Academy further explained what playing for Pirates means to him.
“Playing for the team means a lot, Orlando Pirates is not just any club. It is not only big in the country but also in the continent.
“The team has a rich history and I also want to be a part of that history by assisting the club win more trophies.
“I want to score goals for the team, more so because I have not scored any goal since I started playing in the DStv Premiership,” he added.
