Top ANC member takes the first step to step down due to corruption. One down and how many will follow?
The ANC top figure has decided to step aside from duty on Tuesday 4 May 2021 due to corruption. Many would not want to be dragged on bad things such as corruption, the good as we think would step aside.
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Deputy Chair Mike Mabuyakhulu has decided to put down the reigns before the 30 days window period from the ruling party and major ones. The decision was taken yesterday and it was publicized on Tuesday when The National Working Committee instructed to write the letter to all members who are affect by Mike’s decision.
Ace Magashule reading the publication, will he follow in the steps of the ANC top figure considered to be the first one to step down?
Winners know when to quit, not only in gambling games but also in life. Mike Mabuyakhulu took a decision to save his integrity by stepping down before he could be pushed down the floor like no body. Instead, he saved himself from public disgrace and other matters for his image.
No individual is bigger than the ANC, and all of us should subject ourselves to bonafide ANC decisions. In line with the position adopted by our movement, I hereby respectfully tender my resignation. I will step aside from my position as the Provincial Deputy Chairperson of the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal. Said Mike Mabuyakhulu.
He’s a true leader.

“My decision to step aside should be communicated to all members of the party, as well as the general public. It has not been difficult to arrive at this decision, and I would have tendered this letter much earlier – but I learned there was a meeting of national officials that would give more clarity and guidance on the ‘step aside resolution’.”
